Our students shone brightly at The University of Hong Kong's IN-SMART Student Award Scheme 2026 Presentation Ceremony on 11 July!

This year, our Primary 5 project learning programme collaborated with HKU's IN-SMART Scheme to enhance students' AI literacy and application skills. Through this project, students not only strengthened their STEAM abilities but also developed their capacity for AI-empowered self-directed learning. By writing reflections on their self-directed learning journey, they demonstrated outstanding learning outcomes.

Among the participants, Lee Yuen Chong (5A) won the Silver Award for Self-Directed Learning Reflection in the Primary School Division, while Cai Ka Ki (5A) and Tong Wai Hin (5A) received Merit Awards (as both were absent that day, their certificates were collected on their behalf by Lin Zi Cong from 5A). Their proactive learning attitudes make them wonderful role models for their peers and deserve our recognition!

On the day of the ceremony, Lee Yuen Chong and Lin Zi Cong also participated in a roundtable discussion, sharing their learning experiences, the challenges they faced, and how they overcame them during the project with students from other schools. During the discussion, they spoke confidently and answered the guests' questions with precision. They also listened attentively and actively exchanged their ideas with students from the other schools. They expressed that the scheme provided a valuable opportunity to learn from peers across different schools, from which they benefited greatly.
