Shining Across Cultures: Creativity and Talent Unleashed 

We are thrilled to announce that Hajra, our highly talented Primary 6 Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) student, has recently achieved outstanding success by securing two territory-wide awards! 

First, she delivered a stellar performance in the NCS Student Talent Competition (Upper Primary Section) organised by the Education Bureau, winning 1st Runner-up in the Storytelling Competition with her fluent and vivid rendition of the classical Chinese tale "Two Pupils Learning Go" . Following this triumph, she stood out among over 2,000 entries to win the Merit Award in the "10th Cheongsam Design (Hong Kong Primary Schools) Invitational Competition" organised by Pooi To Middle School .

Both classical storytelling and Cheongsam design are deeply rooted in traditional Chinese culture, presenting an immense challenge for NCS students. However, with her meticulous observation, dedication, and hard work, she successfully broke through language and cultural barriers. These accolades not only recognise her exceptional linguistic talent and artistic creativity but also showcase the limitless potential of students from diverse backgrounds. She has truly set an inspiring example for all of us to embrace challenges and foster cultural integration!
